Designing rocketry hardwarein the open.
I'm Shiv Shivam. Silicon Labs is my rocketry engineering project — I design, build, and document telemetry hardware, starting with SL-OmniTrack.
I started Silicon Labs to build real flight hardware while I'm still learning — because building real things won't wait for a degree. Every enclosure, every sensor fusion filter, every wiring diagram is documented as I go — including what broke and how I fixed it.
Rather than pitching abstract ideas, I focus on what's physically on the bench: CAD design in Fusion 360, ESP32-S3 firmware, 9-axis IMU filtering, LoRa telemetry links, and custom 3D-printed avionics enclosures.

Flight electronics for hobbyist rocketry, designed and documented in the open.
Silicon Labs is my open rocketry engineering project. The core focus is building modular, accessible flight hardware for model rockets — starting with SL-OmniTrack, a two-part avionics telemetry kit (Avionics Bay + Ground Station).
Every step is documented as it gets built: 3D CAD files, firmware source code, wiring diagrams, sensor fusion math, and test results.
